No Show Policy
Attending your appointment is an important factor in treatment. Columbia Wellness values your time and our time. If you are unable to attend a scheduled visit we ask you call us 24 hours in advance to allow us the opportunity to treat another client who may be waiting to get into services. If you fail to call, you will be asked to attend a walk in visit to discuss treatment goals and obstacles. Our goal is to be available to anyone who needs services. Addressing no-shows will help us and our clients be successful in treatment.Thank you for helping us meet this goal.
If you would like to be seen at Columbia Wellness:
To enter services with Columbia Wellness, the first step is to schedule and attend an intake assessment. We offer two ways to schedule an intake assessment.
For individuals who have Medicaid, we offer Open Access intakes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings beginning at 8:00 am at our 921 14th Avenue location. Appointments are offered on a first come, first served basis.
If you prefer a scheduled appointment or if you have commercial insurance, please call (360) 423-0203 and press option 4 for new services. We will gladly verify your insurance and schedule an appointment for you.
What to Expect at an Intake Assessment:
A mental health professional will meet with you, answer your questions and hear your story. This person will also ask you questions about your mental health and determine if your insurance will cover your services with us. Once this is determined, we will work with you to develop a plan with you to help you achieve your treatment goals.
This usually takes about two to two and a half hours. We will use some assessments and other tools, including the OQ-Analyst ™ to help us best know how to help you.
